Some ideas to help the ability feel better in a hunter’s rotation during Shadowlands could be, taking away the stacking mechanic, adding barbed shot as a talent that applies a dot the more your pet attacks targets (whether it’s single target, or beast cleave) ** to simplify what i just said: replace barbed shot with an ability where your pets gain more attack speed over the duration of a fight, depending on the targets that they either directly attack, or hit with beastcleave. It makes sense for BMhunters to have an ability to enhance the damage of their pets, but i haven’t heard one good thing about the maintenance of barbed shot throughout a fight.
I am completely on-bored with them when it comes to the over-looked ability ‘barbed shot’. Recently some of my friends, and guildies have decided to start playing the game again, and had the same complaint about a specific hunter ability. I have been playing hunter for over 9 years, and BM is my favorite spec.
